Holy cow, we’re back. After a long hiatus, I’m happy to report that thanks from a very generous donation from Ralph Scoville, we have new pimped-out mp3 recorder, and we’re ready to roll, Wade style.

This class was moderately difficult. The class began with plank pose and push-ups and moved right into sun salutations. The class focus quickly moved to the legs. The hamstrings and hips are well worked with various lungeing poses such as the warrior series, half moon and eventually the triangle pose. When the class moved to the floor the focus was in the core or abs. Finally the hips and lower back are well stretched as the class concludes.

Tonight's class is pretty straight forward- we start right off with a no-nonsense warm up, and move along to do a pretty challenging sequence involving variations on triangle/extended angle culminating with bringing both arms parallel to the floor. This is followed by some lower back work which I, for one, greatly appreciated. Enjoy!

Wade called last Thursday’s session the "honeymoon class" because you "spent so much time with your feet in the air". In that case, I would call this one the "honeymoon’s over" class, because… well because it sounded like a funny joke. Actually, this class will use poses from the first five series of Ashtanga yoga, packed in at quick pace. Basically, you are going to get a quick taste of a lot of different poses, and a ton of vinyasas- so make sure to pace yourself. Enjoy!

Sorry again for the delay- I was back in china for a week or so, and now that my wife is 8+ months pregnant, she is not able to go and record as much as she would like. Nonetheless, today, my friends, I have a great class recorded for you. This was from the equinox, and as this is a day that balances between seasons, this class is all about balances poses. It was one of my all time favorites. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Wade starts this class off with a few nice, mellow poses, but don’t be fooled, it gets pretty tough, pretty quickly. Highlights: there is a long series of standing poses, a good abdominal session, some dynamic poses towards the end that you can try to jump into, and class ends with some relaxing poses on the floor.

This 90 minute Vinyasa style yoga class consists of Sun Salutations that go well beyond the warm up poses A and B. I am pretty sure we did a Sun Salutation for every letter of the alphabet. Basically you build off S.S. B, where you are adding to the Warrior stance. So, as you can imagine, it’s a thigh burner.
All the while, Wade calmly reminds you of small technical details, to breathe through the nose, not to strain, stay in the present, do your own yoga and to do that all at the same time. There are also some forward bending poses, balance poses, abdominal exercises, twists and inversions. You pretty much get it all in this class.

Hi everyone,
So sorry for the long delay- I have been out of the country for work and then on vacation for the past month. But we’re back, and based on the many emails I received from you all, Yogi Wade has been missed.
Anyway, this post from Kara:
This 90 min. class consists mainly of the Secondary Series. Don’t be afraid, you do most of these anyhow. There are some inversions, which you can take as far as you want to, and Wade careful guides you thru them, and offers alternatives. If you choose to do all the vinyasas in btw the poses (especially in btw the seated poses) it can be quite rigorous, however, if you do them selectively, checking with yourself to stay warm and energized, it’s still a great session. (I’m 6 month pregnant, so I modify a lot, pick and choose poses, and do the vinyasas occasionally and it was still a great session). Basically it can be as hard or as easy as you make it–just like any yoga class really.
