This class starts with Sunny A’s then progresses through Sunny B’s with modifications. Be prepared for some leg burning, then some incendiary arm work with breaks that let the embers that used to be your limbs cool down just enough. After several airplane poses we’ll crash land into boat to table core work (don’t be faked out by yogiwade’s dyslexic moment). Take it slow, do what you can, and never stop breathing deep.

Another great yogi Wade smörgåsbord! I think we may have touched every part of our bodies in this practice! You will enjoy peacock, lotus knee balance, happy lion and many more poses from all levels of Ashtanga yoga. If you are an advanced practitioner you may breeze right through most of these, if you are a beginner you’ll enjoy approaching some of these challenges and working your edge. Who knows you just might stumble across “your” pose! Have lots of fun! Oh, and Wade sneaks in some feel good twists too!

The Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga returns in this class taught by yogiwade!
Be ready for lots of poses, lots of vinyasa’s (don’t feel compelled to do them all). It’s lively quick pace may be a challenge and will keep you coming back to go further with each primary series practice. This practice is like learning movements to a dance, once you know it you can take it anywhere!

Tonights yoga practice was dedicated to our friend, Dave. He will be sorely missed by all his fellow yogis here in our community. Wade opens the class with some words to honor Dave. This class has many challenges. You can take the challenge or take it easy….always your choice. Begin with cat/cow, gentle twists and Sunny A’s. Move along into warriors and pigeon stretches with an added twist. This is a great class for spinal extension and spinal flexion. Enjoy some shooting arrow poses before cooling down and earning that sivasana!

Tonight’s class is “for the birds”, as Wade incorporated poses named for birds into a fun practice. Start out with some basic warm ups, then get ready for Crow and Crow variations, Pigeon and Pigeon variations, Eagle and Eagle variations, Peacock, Feather of the Peacock, Heron, Rooster, Duck, Bird (alias airplane), all in a nice flow with Vinyasa movements in between! Enjoy!

Begin with the basic Sun Salutation A’s, mix that up with some standing forward bending leg lifts and into a mix of Sun Salutation B’s. Gradually this class works in balance poses. As always, Wade gives us lots of details and lots of options to coincide with our level of practice.

This class is much more difficult than the last and moves at a quicker pace. The class adheres to the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga.
