Even though I just did this class, I can’t recall exactly how it went…We started out with a slightly different kind of sun salutation that slowly evolved into a more standard extended angle/triangle series. Beyond that, its kind of a blur. As a result of my vague explanation, I will dub this a “mystery class”…enjoy.

From Kara: Tonight we did a “Full Moon” class, which means that we don’t do the vinyasa style yoga (with all the Sun Salutations) that we normally do. And being a total lunar eclipse (across the US) we paid special tribute to that occurrence. The best way to describe this class is that we kinda started at the end and finished at the beginning. Class started with poses like Plow and Shoulder Stand, so be careful to take it easy b/c you won’t be as warmed up as usual for these poses. There is a good, hard ab section, and many twisting poses. Seems like we spent a lot of time on our backs, so overall this class was kinda opposite from our “normal” class where I feel like we stand more than spend time on the mat.

Get ready for a pretty straight-forward yogiwade class, if there is such a thing. A slightly slower warm-up leads to a real screamer of a one-leg sequence. Also- a quick shout out to Amy in Italy, Scott and Rebecca in Dallas, Sarah in Portland, Blackwater Susan, Cribbs and everyone else who wrote over the long break and has supported us in the past year. Thanks guys.

Hi everyone,
So sorry for the long delay- I have been out of the country for work and then on vacation for the past month. But we’re back, and based on the many emails I received from you all, Yogi Wade has been missed.
Anyway, this post from Kara:
This 90 min. class consists mainly of the Secondary Series. Don’t be afraid, you do most of these anyhow. There are some inversions, which you can take as far as you want to, and Wade careful guides you thru them, and offers alternatives. If you choose to do all the vinyasas in btw the poses (especially in btw the seated poses) it can be quite rigorous, however, if you do them selectively, checking with yourself to stay warm and energized, it’s still a great session. (I’m 6 month pregnant, so I modify a lot, pick and choose poses, and do the vinyasas occasionally and it was still a great session). Basically it can be as hard or as easy as you make it–just like any yoga class really.
