When Wade came into the class, I though he looked happy enough, but as the class got started, I realized that I was dead wrong. No, my friends, tonight Wade is on a rampage. He’s angry, and it seems that he is angry with you. What did you do over the weekend? Sit on the sofa and watch Love Boat and eat ice cream? Stand shirtless and slack-jawed in your yard and watch the grass grow? Well even if you didn’t, you are going to pay for those that did. This class will throw everything at you, and do so a quick pace. Get ready to work.

This is an intense and unusual practice. The best description is perhaps dynamic yoga where transitions are repeated 5 times and the last one is held for 5 breadths e.g. in utkatasana with thighs parallel to the ground, move from { chest on legs, arms in front } to { chest upright, arms upright }.
Although the series has beginner poses, I don’t recommend this for beginners. There just isn’t enough time to micro-adjust your alignments. But if you have decent alignment, the practice is actually quite fun. All those transitions just gets your joints loose and nimble.
Sequence has following poses:
- dynamic child pose to downward dog
- dynamic high to low chaturanga (i.e., pushups)
- regular sun salutation A
- dynamic standing one legged forward bend
- dynamic utkatasana
- salutation B with dynamic virasana 1 {chest on arms to upright } and extended side angle {side angle to vrasana 2}
- dynamic triangle to reverse triangle
- dynamic wide legged forward bend
- regular half pigeon
- dynamic cobra
- dynamic snake (downward dog with forearm on ground to upward facing dog)
- abdominal series (boat, table, pilates, downward dog to one knee touching oppose elbow)
- dynamic half wheel to full wheel
- dynamic plough pose to shoulder stand
- twists and wrap up
