From Kara: Typical vinyasa style yoga class, starting with vigorous Sun Salutations (with variations). it’s a pretty well rounded class working just about everything, but I’d say the emphasis is on opening up the front of the body (from the neck to the back and even the front of the thighs).  of course you’ll work the back and there are some good side stretching poses as well.  class wraps with a plow/shoulder stand/candle inversion series and ends with a nice, relaxing twist.  enjoy.

From Kara: This class starts out with the standard heat producing sun salutations A and B.  Wade throws in some challenging balance poses and deviates here and there to work the legs then the arms.  After the warm up, this class gets into it with a lot of variety. You’ll work some of the smaller, less common areas, like the front of the neck, wrists and knees, along with the standard areas like the hips, shoulders and lower back.  Wade also reminds you to focus on those inner contractions…but don’t get to anal about it….you’ll see what I mean.  After a little ab work and some camel poses, things calm down and class ends with a long, relaxing twist.

Hey Everyone,

Once Again, sorry for the long delay- this can be a really busy time for me, and I’m not quite out of the weeds yet. I did get Kara to record the class last night, and all I heard her say was "well, a lot of hip openers…it wasn’t crazy hard, though", and I forgot to follow up with a full description. So, you can take it from there. Enjoy, and in just a week or so, I will be back to regular posts. Thanks for your patience.
