Difficulty Level: Moderately Difficult

This class was recorded on the summer solstice, which- for Wade at least- means that it’s Sun Salutation Fest. A whole class of sun salutations. Don’t worry, it’s no where near as tedious as it sounds…just be careful with the push ups- if you do one in every vinyasa there’s going to be a lot of them. Enjoy!

Difficulty Level: Moderate

From Kara: Great class! Lots of work on the hamstrings and hips–if all goes well, you might find yourself going further in these poses than you ever have before.  There is even a handstand to try if you are up to it.  Just find 90 minutes and go for it.
Instead of a description this time, I feel compelled to publicly thank Wade for giving us a completely different, interesting, fun and challenging class twice a week, week after week.  Whether you are able to be physically there or downloading via the internet, you should feel lucky to have the opportunity.  Thanks again Wade!

Difficulty Level: Moderately Difficult

Although this class moves at a relatively slow pace, it still packs a bit of a punch. Along with the usual suspects- sun salutation A, B, etc, get ready for lots of balance poses (read: burning legs). Given the pace of the class, I found myself having time to really focus on technique, particularly in the first few poses.

Difficulty Level: Moderately Difficult

From Kara: Class starts out with pretty standard Sun Salutations A, but the B series gets progressively more difficult with each pose both strength and balance wise.  It’s a great warm up, make sure you remember to focus on the breath.  There are some challenging strength poses in this class (elbow balancing and seated lifts).  There are also some interesting hip stretches in this class that might make you realize that you had muscles in places you never thought about stretching before.  I would say the most emphasized areas in this class are the hamstrings and the lower back, although you are working just about everything.

Difficulty Level: Moderately Difficult

While much of this class seemed like pretty straight-forward Wade-style vinyasa yoga, I felt that it was pretty hard- specifically in the upper body. Lots of down-dog time logged, as well as pulling your knee to your elbow in down dog, upper push-up, etc etc. Perhaps this is class is a good compliment to a long weekend of biking.

Difficulty Level: Moderate

From Kara: A vinyasa style, power yoga class. Starts out with slow sun salutations–you’ll hold the strength poses for a bit to generate heat and build strength. work through some great hamstring stretches, and butt/leg strengthening poses. You’ll work the "kinks" out of just about everywhere, including the knees, wrists and toes.  Time flies in this 90 minute class, moving through Triangle pose, Twisted Triangle, and variations with a few "rests" in those Spinal balancing poses on all fours.  You’ll move to the floor with some ab work, lower back work (a long Bow Pose) then Plow and Shoulder Stand.  Listen for Wade’s cues to modify any pose that is too hard and doesn’t allow you to breath properly.  A great class that touches the entire body.

Difficulty Level: Easy

Tonight (at least the night this was recorded) is a full moon class- meaning that it is a little less taxing than some workouts. This particular version is a modified "long slow deep" class that never goes to standing poses. A great recovery workout, or a good way to unwind after a busy day.
