Tonight’s class is all about Wade unleashing his fury on the class generating heat and strength. The class gets right into it with a challenging warm up, and then gets tough from there. Get ready for lots of push ups, long one-leg balances, and those tough "put one hand where your foot used to be" down-dogs. Bring your game face to this one.

Hi everyone,

No post today- we’re off for Thanksgiving. We’ll be back up and running on Tuesday. Have a great vacation, and take some time over the long weekend to do a workout from the archives.

Difficulty Level: Moderately Difficult

Tonights class started off with some pretty heat generating sun sals. then Wade pretty much went into one of the longest “Fun with Abs ™” sessions, including those brutal little lifts in Lotus or cross leg position. we got into some interesting strength/balance poses that require a good bit of flexibility just to attempt, like Insect Pose and the one where you put your head under you leg. We managed to work the shoulders a bit, threw in some side stretching and finished up with some lower back work, including Bow, Bridge, and Wheel. Not super fast paced, but working hard throughout, no inversions.

Tonights class is a pretty straightforward- it starts with a slow, modified sun salutation series, and goes on to focus a bit on the legs and quadracepts. Get ready for a couple of really long ass burners. Have fun.

I wasn’t at this class, so I’m not sure what to expect. when I uploaded it, I noticed that Wade started in corpse pose. Maybe it’s the fabled “90 minute corpse pose” class. As always, feel free to comment if you want to describe this class to everyone.

Hi Yogaphyles,

Sorry for the delay, but in pursuit of making the posts a more regular event, I have held off on posting last week’s workouts so that I am now one week ahead. While I am not making any guarantees, I hope that this will allow me to have new workouts posted every Tuesday and Thursday. I realize that regularity (in both senses of the term) helps with any exercise routine, so I hope that this will be an improvement.

So, without further ado, here is the next Yogiwade workout…

Wade mentioned that this class was loosely based on a Bryan Kest weight loss class- this seems like a good description. Get ready yoga meets calisthenics, with lots of poses and multiple repetitions. Enjoy.

This class starts with a “very unique” warm up, and then from there, the focus of the class seems to be on forward and backward bends. Look for some “brutal” snake poses thrown in to spice things up a bit.
