Difficulty Level: Moderately Difficult

So this class starts out easy enough- slow paced sun salutations that feature lunging crescent pose, and then there’s some more crescent poses, and then suddenly you find yourself in plank position for a long time- and then you realize that maybe this class isn’t that easy. Wade takes the last 15 minutes or so to do an extended meditation/ corpse pose, which in my opinion is one of the more difficult parts of my yoga practice…

Difficulty Level: Difficult

Get ready for a tough one. There were only a few people present at tonight’s class, and I think Wade used it as an excuse really let loose. The class starts with some exended “plank” (read “upper push up”) position, and just goes from there. Lots of upper body stuff with a couple of lengthy one-leg balance poses thrown in to make your lower body hurt like your upper body. Have fun.

Difficulty Level: Moderate

Tonight’s class takes a somewhat slower approach, with more emphasis on technique, and holding poses a bit longer. The class also seems to focus a bit on core strength. In general, a nice transition after a week off.

Difficulty Level: Moderately Difficult

This class opens with a fast paced, vigorous warm-up, with lots of hang-time in upper push up positon. This will get you plenty warm for whats coming next- a couple of killer hip openers and a long extended angle/ triangle sequence.

Tonight’s class features lots of inversions, so you might want to get near a wall before you start. Don’t strain your neck, and remember- even just placing your head and hands in the correct position with your knees still on the floor is a headstand. Enjoy!
